Lengthen lines to meet other geometry
Overview
The Extend tool lengthens open-ended lines and curves until they meet another sketch element. Visual markers appear at extendable endpoints.

How to Use

Enter Extend mode
Click Extend in the sketch modifiers.

Identify endpoints
Visual markers appear at extendable endpoints.

Click to extend
Click on an endpoint to extend it to the nearest boundary.

Tips
- Only works on open-ended lines (not closed shapes)
- The line extends to the nearest intersecting element
- Use before Trim to create proper intersections
