Modifying Parts

Select faces and features, then use tools or natural language to modify them. AI handles the geometry.

Two Ways to Modify

After selecting a face or feature, you can modify it using either approach:

Use Tools

Select a face, then click Hole, Fillet, or Chamfer. The tool applies to your selection automatically.

Use Natural Language

Select a face, then type what you want: "add a 0.5 inch hole here" or "fillet this edge".

Selecting Faces

Click any face on your model to select it. Selected faces work with both tools and natural language commands.

1

Click a face

Click any surface on your part. It will highlight and show a label (e.g., "Face 3").

2

Use a tool or type a command

Click the Hole tool to add a hole to the selected face, or type:

Add a 0.5 inch hole to the selected face
3

Select multiple faces

Hold Shift and click to select multiple faces. Then say "fillet the selected faces".

Tip

Press Escape or click empty space to clear your selection.
